Working in Oklahoma City as the Executive Director of American Indian Education, Julian currently works to further the educational opportunities of American Indian students in Oklahoma while facilitating collaboration among tribal nations, school districts, and educators.
Prior to joining OSDE, Julian worked in nonprofit management with the Tribal Education Departments National Assembly (TEDNA) and administered their $2.2 million-dollar early college and career readiness grant from the U.S. Department of Education. He also serves as an appointed gaming commissioner for the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission providing regulation and oversight for all tribal gaming facilities owned by the Comanche Nation. Also, the OKC Chapter will award 3 scholarships to deserving Native American students.
