Speaker:  Jack Hedrick, Unboxed Training Solutions President

Topic:  Entrepreneurship in Indian Country

One of Jack’s favorite epigrams is that opportunity doesn’t always knock, but it usually happens when you beat on the door. For more than twenty years, he has worked in education, training, and tribal environments. His passion is thinking “outside the box” to help others excel at their life goals. He’s trained over 100,000 people throughout his career and now lives his dream through Unboxed Training Solutions.

Recently, he developed a new model for EntrepreneurshiP in Indian Country (EPIC) training to assist Native small business owners in obtaining the skills, knowledge, and behaviors to be successful. Through owning a Native small business, he’s eager to share success strategies and time wasters for all entrepreneurs. Jack and Unboxed Training Solutions was recently selected as District 12 Chahtapreneur of the Year by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Jack earned his Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education and Master of Science in Teaching, Learning, & Leadership from Oklahoma State University. He has also earned a hospitality management certification through San Diego State University. He was recognized as a National Finalist for Teacher of the Year by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
