Speaker: Sheila Morago is Executive Director of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association
Sheila previously served as Vice President of National Relations for Initial Impressions in Tempe, Ariz.; Executive Director for the Arizona Indian Gaming Association; Tribal Liaison for Arizonans for Fair Gaming and Indian Self-Reliance, where she managed outreach for Prop 202; and Director of Public Relations for the National Indian Gaming Association.
Morago began her career in tribal gaming as Director of Marketing for the Gila River Casinos. She was inducted into the Indian Gaming Hall of Fame and awarded Indian Gaming Magazine’s Eagle Visionary Award; she has also been listed among Global Gaming Business magazine’s 25 People to Watch and Casino Enterprise Management magazine’s Great Women of Gaming. A member of the Gila River Indian Community in Arizona, Morago studied business and public administration at the University of Arizona.
