Description: With today’s emphasis on company culture and loyalty, the role of human resources management and the types of benefits a company offers has become increasingly important for a business’s future. However, being competitive in these areas isn’t always easy for small and medium-sized businesses.

Joseph Lyon, CEO at My HR Professionals, will share several cost-effective, expert-driven solutions to HR challenges that focus on supporting areas of potential weakness for these companies.

Joseph’s corporate journey started with multiple promotions at Tyson Foods and USA Truck where he gained valuable insight into those industries before returning to help grow his family’s business, My HR Professionals. His heart and desire for truly supporting people led him to earn both a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University.

After posting record growth during his 5 years as the Business Development and Marketing Director, Joseph was named the CEO in January of 2019 where he now focuses on leading and developing his team to support more than 19,000 employees at over 500 businesses.

Whether an organization has a team of 2 or 200, in-house employees can have a lifeline to experts in the field as well as direct help with certain HR, Payroll, Risk and Benefits related tasks. Joseph will share how these solutions can prevent mistakes while boosting employee loyalty and directing more funds to invest in core activities—areas that will, in the long run, give them a maximum competitive advantage in their industry.

Joseph is married to his High School sweetheart and is the father of three. He enjoys traveling, spending time in the outdoors with his family, and says he constantly considers switching careers to become a professional chef due to his love of good food.
