The Gathering 2018 Business Summit is the largest event hosted by the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma each year.  The conference will offer sessions that highlight successful business plans of Native-owned  businesses, how to seek government contracts, obtaining financial assistance for your businesses and business matchmaking sessions. Visit with the directors of preferred Indian-owned programs and TERO from a number of tribes across Oklahoma who champion for Indian-owned businesses.

There are excellent networking opportunities, the AICCO Annual Awards luncheon and also the Leadership Native Oklahoma graduation ceremony.

Gary “Litefoot” Davis is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He is the Executive Director of the Native American Financial Services Association (NAFSA), Publisher of Native Business™ Magazine, CEO of Davis Strategy Group and a member of the Forbes Finance Council. Before being appointed as Executive Director of NAFSA, Mr. Davis served as President and CEO of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) and was a member of the NCAIED’s Board of Directors.

Kisha L. Allen, a Dallas, TX native, is a transparent passionate energetic woman of excellence with a huge smile that lights up the room.  She is a corporate trainer by trade and a teacher by gifting.  She challenges people to rise up and take ownership of the power that lies within them, so that they can “move beyond motivation into manifestation”.

Kisha is also an author that creates programs to help individuals transform their lives and disrupt patterns and/or habits that may be limiting them from being successful, finding peace or leading a more fulfilled like.  She works diligently to help others live with greater productivity and discipline so they can reach their highest potential.

Ken Talley photoAWARDS LUNCHEON WELCOME – Ken Talley

Ken Talley serves as “Small and Minority Business Coordinator” for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.  As such, he provides initial counseling, plus referral information regarding existing state programs and resources to assist small and minority businesses.  Previously, he headed the first contract program in Oklahoma with the Minority Business Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Subsequently, he served as an “Economic Development Field Representative” on the staff of an Oklahoma Congressman.  Following, he worked as a “Business Loan Specialist” in the state office of the Rural Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  Ken has both an undergraduate degree and a Master’s in Business Administration.

A native of Cleveland County, Oklahoma, Teresa Rule graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Letters. Teresa was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years during which she earned a Master’s degree in Education for Adult and Community Education from Eastern Carolina University. She served as a Transportation Officer before transitioning into Joint Special Projects. She served tours in the United States and Okinawa.

As a Special Agent, Ms Hinkle assisted is such high-profile criminal investigations involving Violent Crime, Asian Organized Crime,  International Terrorism, and such criminal investigations such as the Oklahoma City Bombing, The Unabomer investigation, Atlanta Olympic Bombing, the 9/11 Pentagon and World Trade Center terrorist attacks, as case agent of the Columbia Space Shuttle disaster and as a crime scene investigator in several hundred homicide investigations.
