Speaker: Jeremy Shipp, Senior Project Manager for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Division of Strategic Development

Jeremy has worked for the Choctaw Nation for the past four years where he has served as a Corporate Trainer, Leadership Coach, and Talent Development Senior Manager, before accepting his current position in May 2019. Before joining the Choctaw Nation, Mr. Shipp spent ten years in the healthcare field, with seven of those years spent in the surgical department. Mr. Shipp has a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and a Master of Science in Native American Leadership both from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Jeremy is currently completing his second Master’s degree, which he will complete in 2020. Mr. Shipp is a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker and holds a Leadership Development and Succession Strategist Certification from Human Capital Institute. Jeremy has also completed the Disney Institute’s Approach to Business Excellence Certification and will be pursuing his PMP soon. Jeremy is a proud Native American tribal member and is both Ponca and Chickasaw.
Family and community service are essential to Jeremy. Jeremy and his wife Shyanne have been married for fourteen years, and they have two boys, Clayton and Lawson. Jeremy has served as a Pre-Teen instructor at the First Baptist Church of Kingston, OK for the past seven years, and also plays acoustic guitar for the praise and worship team. Jeremy coaches his son’s competitive OK Kids baseball team and served three years on the Kingston, OK City Council.
