Topic: Osage Nation History & “Killers of the Flower Moon”

Speaker Names: Talee Red Corn, Project Manager for Tribal Development at Osage Nation and actor in “Killers of the Flower Moon”

Additional Information: Red Corn will discuss his portrayal of a spiritual leader in Martin Scorsese’s movie “Killers of the Flower Moon”, based on bestselling novel by David Grann. He will also discuss “Washashe Wageress Pahvgreh Tse: The Osage First Book” written in the Osage language by William Comb Regus in 1834.

Talee is a member of the Osage Nation and resides in the Pawhuska Indian Village in Oklahoma. He is the Project Manager for the Tribal Development department at the Osage Nation. Talee was also elected to the Osage Minerals Council four times and leads investigations in orphan well and enhanced oil recovery projects. Talee has an MS and BS in Engineering and an AT in Building Construction. He is very active in Osage and tribal cultural activities and also speaks the Osage language. In 2022, Talee was cast in Martin Scorsese’s movie Killers of the Flower Moon (movie to show in Oct 2023). He has a 29-year-old daughter Wilma, a 25-year-old son Tahlee Karl (“TJ”), and a 5-year-old grandson named Adrian Tiger.
