Speaker Information: Chris Cochran recently joined the CPCDC as a Credit Analyst. Mr. Cochran brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience in the insurance and financial services industry where he owned and operated a multi-lined agency offering personal and commercial lines insurance as well as investment products. Mr. Cochran prides himself in being a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation and looks forward to utilizing his business talents in helping the Native community become productive citizens through education & financing home and small business ownership. A recent graduate of Leadership Native Oklahoma, Mr. Cochran also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western New Mexico University. He has been married to his wife, Kerry, for 34 years and they have raised four boys.

Felecia Freeman is a Citizen Potawatomi tribal member who has worked for the Citizen Potawatomi Nation since 2006. Her Potawatomi name is Jiqwes kwe, meaning “Little Thunder Woman,” She is a commercial loan officer and a certified credit counselor for the Citizen Potawatomi Community Development Corporation, where she has assisted in making over $40 million in loans to Native American entrepreneurs. She also provides the credit-counseling program for CPN tribal members. Felecia is active in the community, serving on the Advisory Board for the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma, Advisory Board member for the local Bridges out of Poverty Initiative, Shawnee Leadership Committee Member, and an Ambassador for the Greater Shawnee Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of Opportunity Finance Network (OFN), The Native Community Development Financial Institution Network (NCN), and the Oklahoma Native Asset Coalition (ONAC). She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
