Speaker Information: Ashley Johnson is a dedicated public servant with 12 years of experience working for the State of Oklahoma. As the Tribal Relations Director at the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, she focuses on supporting Indian Health Services and Tribal health care systems throughout the state. Ashley, who is Afro-Indigenous, is committed to improving the health outcomes for tribal members while considering cultural sensitivity. She is committed to helping internal and external individuals communicate and demonstrate exclusive practices.
Jenifer Gover LittleSun is the Executive Director for the Pawnee Nation. As an executive, she has spent her career working in operations within the private, federal, non-profit, tribal, and corporate sectors. Jenifer specializes in change management and operations, via building efficient teams by empowering and mentoring top talent. In addition to running the day-to-day operations of the Pawnee Nation Government, she is a co-founder of the American Indian Criminal Justice Navigation Council, an Advisory Board Member for the National Trauma Awareness Initiative, and a board member of the Native Wings like an Eagle, Inc. As a Skidi/Pawnee, Jenifer grew up on the Pawnee Reservation in Pawnee, OK, attending and participating in her culture, ceremonies, and tribal elections.
