Speaker: Shoshana Wasserman, Deputy Director, First Americans Museum
About the Speaker: Shoshana Wasserman, a citizen of both the Thlopthlocco Tribal Town and the Muscogee Nation has been with the First Americans Museum project since 2005. She currently serves as the deputy director and is also the co-curator of the FAMily Discovery Center with a master’s degree in business communications and organizational development from Jones International
University; and a bachelor of science degree in education, focusing on multicultural
studies, from the University of Oklahoma.

She has served as the deputy director since 2017 helping to oversee museum
operations including human, financial, and physical resources, and helps manage
executive and administrative offices, guest services and marketing and
communications. Prior to this role, she served as the marketing and communications
manager and project planning consultant since 2005.
