Speaker Information: Heather Turner, a proud Oklahoma native, grew up in Moore before moving to Tulsa to pursue higher education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tulsa, followed by a Master of Business Administration and a graduate certification in Nonprofit Management from Oklahoma State University. Heather is a certified speaker, coach, and trainer under the prestigious John Maxwell Leadership program and the author of “DreamTraders” and the DreamTraders In-School International curriculum and enrichment programs. As the founder and owner of Anthem Road Academy School of Music, Heather launched and scaled her business into four thriving locations in Jenks, Bixby, Tulsa, and Broken Arrow, and Edmond, Oklahoma. She is the co-founder of Women Who Impact and past President of the Jenks Public Schools Foundation. Her tenure as President and CEO of the Jenks Chamber of Commerce was marked by successful initiatives in economic development, community development, and tourism for the rapidly growing city of Jenks. 

In recognition of her leadership and dedication to the many elements of economic growth, Governor Stitt appointed Heather as Executive Director of CORE where she currently leads the state’s efforts in Community Outreach Revitalization & Enterprise, for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Heather cherishes her personal life with her high school sweetheart and husband, Jon Turner. They are having a blast raising their two teenage sons and three dogs. The family is actively involved in their community, serving at Life.Church South Tulsa on weekends. In her free time, Heather enjoys watching her sons play sports, spending time with family, attending concerts, reading, shopping, and taking walks with her husband and dogs.
