Speaker: Annette Arkeketa-Rendon

Topic:  Learn the Secrets of doing business with the military

Arkeketa-Rendon has been in government contracting for 17 + years.  She has held the position of contract Specialist, Contracting Officer and now serves as a Small Business Specialist at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.    She is Level III Certified in the DoD contract profession.  As a Small Business Specialist, Arkeketa-Rendon provides counseling for small  businesses which include understanding the process of government contracting, SBA programs, acquisition opportunities with MICC, and advocating for the small business when contracting requirements are planned.

She holds a BBA from Central State University, Edmond, Oklahoma;  and MA from the University of Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, Texas.  Annette Arkeketa-Rendon is an enrolled member of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma. She is also Muscogee Creek. She conducts professional workshops in poetry, playwriting, the creative process, script consultant, and documentary film making.
