Ms. Jackie Jackson is the Planning Director for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe and Utility Board Chairman. She has served as the Planning Director for about 5 and half years. She has created many projects, received many millions in grants for tribe, developed new programs, built new program buildings, prompted FEMA to begin the flood plan mapping process for Noble County and was instrumental in creating the Otoe-Missouria Utility Board in 2016. She serves as the Chairwoman for the utility board.
Jackie explains her most successful work project was as the project manager for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe new water plant. The tribe signed the engineering contract in June of 2013 and she picked up the project in July of 2013 when she came on board to the tribe. She saw the project from the conception to the grand opening of the new 4.5-million-dollar plant on December 5th, 2018.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration. Jackie has been in the business development field for almost 20 years with many years of experience from the U.S. Department of Treasury – Internal Revenue Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and as a financial analyst for the Oklahoma Native American Business Development Center and as a consultant.
