Congratulations to Bailey Walker for being elected State President of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of OK at the January Board meeting!

Bailey, a member of the Chickasaw Nation, serves as the Chickasaw Nation Preferred Vendor Program Coordinator for the Chickasaw Business Network. He is active in the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma, first serving as an Advisory Board Member, State Board Member, appointed Vice President, and the President Elect for 2018. He has assisted in the creation of the Southwest Chapter, and the Southeast Chapter, in order to promote and enhance the success of small businesses. A true servant leader, Bailey continues to be a strong advocate for all minority business owners, striving to help them achieve success.

Baileys Professional Achievements & Certifications begin with graduating from East Central University with a BS in Entrepreneurship in 2012. Graduating from Adas Inaugural Chamber of Commerce Leadership YOUniversity Class in 2009; Graduating from the University of Reno, NV with a Gaming Management Certification in 2009; Selected to attend & represent ECU at the Governors Cup for Entrepreneurs 2009.  Mr. Walker attained accreditation as a Small Business Consultant in 2015 (AASBC) and completed the Masters of Accreditation for Small Business Consultants in 2017.

Bailey was recognized & awarded the 2017 Minority Enterprise Development “Advocate of the Year for Minority-Owned Businesses” from the U.S.Dept. of Commerce-REI.  Additionally, Mr. Walker was recognized as the 2017 Paul & Pamela Bickford Volunteer of the Year 2017 from the AICCO.

Mr. Walker began as an intern within the Chickasaw Nation Information Technology Department. After transferring his internship to the Division of Commerce, he was tasked to serve as a Tribal Liaison for Global Gaming Solutions, LLC, a wholly-owned entity by the Chickasaw Nation and concluded his internship as a Financial Analyst I, entrusted with maintaining proprietary reports for Gaming (class II/III). Prior to joining the Chickasaw Nation, Bailey held a 13 year career with Dart (aka) Solo Cup.

Walker raised traditionally in Chickasaw traditions & customs from an encouraging Mother & Fluent Speaking Grandparents; he fosters professional connections; a vast working experience; and has a strong work ethic. Mr. Walker has a passion to serve his tribe and empower others for success!
